How to get a free Star Wars speaker from O2
If you’re already an O2 customer, the first thing you’ll need to do is go to the O2 Priority website or the O2 Priority app, and make sure you’re signed in. You should be signed in automatically if you’re using the smartphone app, but on the website you’ll need to enter your O2 phone number to receive an activation code that’ll allow you to join O2 Priority.
From Thursday (that’s today!), you’ll be able to pick up the speaker from selected O2 stores, and you can find out which is nearest to you by using the map on the O2 Priority website or app. There are only 25,000 up for grabs, which may sound like a lot but we expect that they’ll get snapped up fast. They will be available (while stocks last) until 15 November. It’ll be one per customer, and you’ll get a code that you’ll be required to use when collecting the speaker, so you won’t be able to go into a different store to get a second one there.
How to get a free Star Wars speaker if you’re not on O2
Update: You might still be able to get your free O2 SIM before the end of the offer on 15 November, but we imagine that stocks will have run out by then so if you’re not already on O2 your chances are slim. You might like to get a free O2 SIM by following the instructions below anyway, to take advantage of future O2 Priority offers. If you haven’t got an O2 phone number, there might still be time to get your hands on a free O2 SIM which’ll come with a phone number that you can use to sign up for Priority. To get a free SIM, go to O2’s Pay & Go Sims page. There, you can choose any of the bundle options (we went with the £10 per month one but you don’t actually have to pay to receive the SIM so don’t worry), and choose the type of SIM you require. You’ll then need to fill in the form to let O2 know your name and address, and before you know it you’ll have ordered yourself a free SIM and it should arrive within three days. On O2’s website, it suggests that you’ll need to top up to activate the SIM, but we’ve also heard that you can simply pop the SIM card into your phone, download the O2 priority app (via WiFi) and then enter the O2 phone number when it asks you to.
